baby month card giveaway!

One of our most popular products is our Baby Month cards. The idea is to photograph your baby each month with the card. Each set contains cards for months 1-12 – it's an excellent way to see your baby's growth in the first year
and you end up with a lovely sequence of photos that can be framed in a grid.

To continue our baby-themed week, we are giving away a set of Baby Month cards in your color choice: pale pink, poppy orange (not shown), pool blue or sage green. The cards retail for $18 + $7 shipping = $25. If you would like to purchase a set, email us at info@blonde-designs.com.

To enter this giveaway, please respond to this post telling us what your favorite children's gift is to give or receive.

We will announce the winner on Monday, October 26th.

My favorite gift to give/receive are blankets, and the kind of stuff only mom's who have tried and tested know about - like really great diaper cream.

I enjoy giving something handmade or something that has a personal touch to it, like an embroidered blanket, I still have mine from when I was a baby and will use them on the twins when they arrive:)

We are pregnant with our first two...twins due in January. So, I don't know what my favorite gift to receive is, but a favorite that I've given was a handmade wooden stool I gave to my nephew. I took a woodworking class and made a little stepping stool for him. It took weeks to complete. When I finished it, I painted his name on it. He is three and still loves his "Aunt Leah" stool.

My favorite gift to give is the Sleep Sheep (baby sounds & white noise maker inside a real cute and soft sheep that attaches to the crib.) There's even an "On the Go" version that attaches to the stroller. This little "Sheep" really works! I also like to include a few Little Golden Books and something for the new mom (like a gift certificate for a manicure or to her favorite restaurant) in the gift bag as well.

I love reading all these great suggestions/comments... What a great topic! Thanks!

I like to give Sandra Boynton books and swaddler blankets.

I love buying handmade monsters from Belua Designs http://www.beluadesigns.com/

They are made from recycled sweaters and are charming and lovely. Some have button eyes so may not be appropriate for super young children, although you can order ones with felt eyes or keep them as super cute shelf ornamentals until the child is old enough.

I love giving big cuddly blankets. I am 24 and I still have (and use) the baby blanket that was crocheted for me. It's the perfect cuddle on the couch blanket. I also like to give people things like bottles or medical equiptment that they might not get but they will need.

I love to get or give anything monogrammed. I don't know why but things seems extra special with your baby's sweet name or monogram stitched on it. I especially love blankets with their name and date of birth on it.

my favorite gift to receive is anything personalized for baby because it feels like a keepsake. i love to give new moms either a sleep sack (b/c i loved mine so much) or something that will occupy the baby for a few minutes, like an activity mat or musical toy.

Whatever I give, I love for it to be a great find. Some of my favorite gifts have been designer baby clothes that I've found at Loehmanns for SUPER cheap.

These are so cute. What a clever idea. I love to give the large receiving blankets from Dwell at Target. They are big enough where you can use them for several months and they come in cute patterns. Oh, and California Baby bath products.
