place setting practice for kids

On weeknights, my girls are in charge of setting the table. I love that they have done it for long enough that it no longer ellicits too many complaints. They are perfectly capable of setting out placemats, plates, basic utensils, glasses and napkins. Sometimes the utensils are in the wrong place and I doubt they would know what to do with a salad fork, let alone a dessert spoon! To assist their nightly chore, I found this place setting activity here. I hope Emily Post approves!

thanks so much for sharing. I am teaching a bunch of 10-11 year old etiquette and setting the table and this is perfect. How much fun will they have with this? thanks again!
