pumpkin chocolate chip squares

As soon as there is the faintest hint of fall in the air, both Kristin and I start making these Pumpkin Chocolate Chip Squares. They are delicious (and slightly nutritious!?) and are so easy to make. It takes me less than 10 minutes to mix up the dough and 35 minutes to bake. What could be better than gooey chocolate intermingled with pumpkin with a tall glass of ice cold milk? Delicious! I think these would be an excellent addition to any Thanksgiving dessert spread – the kids (and adults!) will love them!

This is such a great recipe. I made them recently and used the chocolate chunks instead of chips. They turned out GREAT! Here's a link if you want to see what they look like with chunks: http://doublebatch.wordpress.com/2009/10/07/pumpkin-and-chocolate-again/
