my sister, sarah

I am happy to introduce our first guest blogger, my sister, Sarah. Sarah is a girl of many talents – she finished law school last Spring, had a darling baby boy, Oliver, was an editor on Law Review (picture having contractions while trying to finish editing a paper!), managed to pass the California Bar while taking care of Oliver, and, in her spare time, cooks and bakes like there's no tomorrow.

Sarah spent a year and a half in France which definitely honed her culinary aesthetic. She is constantly coming up with new recipes but would give up any meal for good French chocolate. Sarah is enjoying her last few months on the Wasatch Front while her husband finishes his last year of law school. Then, they are off to Newport Beach where both she and her husband have accepted full-time law jobs.

I am happy that Sarah has graciously agreed to share some of her favorite recipes with us. She also just threw a fabulous 1st birthday party for Oliver – I can't wait for you all to see how it turned out. The theme was How the Grinch Stole Christmas. Tune in on Monday for details.

Have a lovely weekend – in my dream world, I would like to spend it wrapping gifts, sipping hot apple cider and baking. In actuality, I will be spending it working to meet a deadline for Monday. Hopefully, come Tuesday, I will be sipping hot cocoa!
