candy popcorn

You have not tasted candy corn until you've tasted my mom's candy corn. I don't even like candy corn but this is my favorite treat by far over the holidays. It's the perfect combination of sweet, but not too sweet, with a hint of vinegar (a surprise ingredient!) that makes this popcorn totally addicting. I highly recommend you whip up a batch. Believe me, you'll thank me.

Thank you so much for this recipe! The neighborhood group asked if I would make some treats for our recently widowed neighbor/family. I was trying to decide what to make and my Grandma suggested popcorn balls....then I come across this recipe and well, it just feels like it was meant to be. I'll be making up a huge batch this afternoon! (and trying out my new candy thermometer that I got before Thanksgiving too!)
