labels for school
We were asked to label EVERYTHING that my kids take with them to school. Apparently the lost and found box fills up pretty quickly! I printed their names and information on label paper. Then I covered the page with clear packing tape before cutting the individual labels with an x-acto knife. This made the labels waterproof and a bit more durable. I adhered them to backpacks, lunch boxes, and jackets. Nothing has been lost (yet)!

Very stylish and easy idea (I love the font choice)!
Not to scare you, but I have always been advised to label everything on the inside lining. Children with their names on bookbags or other items can more easily be abducted because they can be called by name, making the child believe the person knows them.
It's a shame that we have to worry about these things, but in this day and age, you just never know...and certainly don't want to take any chances.
Otherwise, these labels are adorable and thank you for sharing them!
What did you use to make them stick? I also love "Mabels labels" iron on labels for clothing - check them out, they are adorable.
Even with a label on the inside, my 8yr olds Nth Face fleece disappeared from the playground and never came back :(
