announcement keepsake
I designed birth announcements for each of my children when they were born. I love seeing them framed with a newborn picture in each of their rooms instead of being tucked away in an album. These frames from Pottery Barn are perfect for displaying an announcement with a photo. My mom has these for all of her grandchildren and has hung them together on a wall. I'm also thinking of using these to display a favorite birthday party invitation with a picture of my child at that age. It would be nice to have a collection of these to remember and showcase special occasions and milestones.

We do the same thing for my mom with all of the grandkids' birth announcements and photos. It makes such a nice keepsake.

I love this idea!! I wish I had been reading all the blogs before I had my son that I read now. I would have had so many cute ideas. We didn't send out announcements 15 months ago but I'm going to make one now! Just for my own personal pleasure :) We just sent out early Christmas cards since the little guy was born in November.
