glazed lemon cookies
Last night, I was in the mood to make something sweet and springlike. I also had a bag of lemons in the fridge that were in need of a purpose. After a bit of recipe research, I stumbled upon this recipe for Glazed Lemon Cookies. They were exactly what I was craving – the perfect combination of lemon zest and lemon juice both in the cookie and then in the glaze which is drizzled over the cookie. Quite delicious and the perfect dessert for spring!

Droool!!! I didn't know I was craving lemon cookies until I read your post. I don't have any lemons but I do have some juice. I think I'll try to find a recipe that will work. Thanks for the inspiration! Today is a rainy, cold spring day and would be perfect for making cookies with my kids!
Oh, I tore that recipe out as soon as I saw it featured in the magazine and these became my favorite cookies ever! And that's saying a lot, as I die for anything chocolate. The glaze is also a super easy (read: cheater's) way to spice up store-bought sugar cookies when you're short on time!
I agree with Jessica... after reading this entry I'm now craving lemon cookies. I'm going to make these tonight!
Melissa S. sent me this recipe about 2 weeks ago & we made a double batch the next day. They are SOOOO good. Fortunately we packaged some up and took them to friends, or I would have devoured the lot!
Made these this morning...DELISH! Perfect for the spring/summer weather. Thanks for passing this one along. It's a keeper!
So wish I could go home right now and make these! I love lemons.
those look delicious. I'll give them a try this weekend. thanks
