I love Salt Water sandals. I grew up wearing them (the company is based in St. Louis where I'm from) and have bought a pair (or 2 or 3!) for my daughter and son every summer since they could walk. They are comfortable, look cute with both dresses and shorts, and hold up remarkably well. The leather wipes clean with a little soap and water and the patent leather sandals don't scuff. I wish my kids' feet would stop growing so they could wear them more than one season!
When I was young, they only came in red, white and blue. I love all of the color options now. And because they've become so popular, you can buy them at a variety of stores. Crewcuts is now selling the 'surfer' style in pink, yellow, and orange (I just purchased the orange for my daughter). Zappos has the biggest selection, featuring a new light blue color and silver and gold (I want gold!). Today and tomorrow, Olive Juice has their Salt Water sandals on sale. If you haven't gotten a pair for yourself or your kids, now is the time. Summer is almost here!

I am a HUGE Salt Water fan! I have three pairs of my own---yellow patent, navy and tan. They're a summer staple in my world. They're not nearly as cute on me as they are on cute little kid feet but...
Oh, how we love Saltwaters! My girls get a new pair every spring, and nothing is cuter than little toes peeking out the front. We've never had the same color twice (loved them all); my older daughter has silver this year -- darling!

LOVE them. They do hold up so well. They pass from daughter to daughter without any trouble. A great investment in footwear for kids (and that is saying something!)

I get these in several colors for my girls each year and we are in love with them too. Even my middle daughter who has narrow feet & is hard to fit does very well with them & loves them.
