summer chart
In an attempt to keep a little structure to our unstructured summer days, I've been having my kids complete a chart each week. I list things I'd like them to accomplish each day (make bed, read books, brush teeth without complaining!, etc.) and let them check it off on their chart. At the end of the week, they get a small reward. It's lost a bit of its charm after 6 weeks of summer vacation, but they've kept it up pretty well. If your kids need a little motivation this summer (or if you're tired of asking them if they've brushed their teeth!), below is a PDF version of the chart.

So cute, thanks!
These are great! Very cute. I sometimes think I need a chart for myself, and I'm 24 years old...
Thanks for posting it!
Just what I needed!
I'm going to use this next week. I hope it works!
thanks for posting, love it!
When I was 9 years old, we had summer activities charts too! Those included housekeeping, summer tutorial, and of course spending days at beaches. I miss those days of summer. Now I have my own family, I also find time to spend vacations with them. Just last year, we spent our vacations at Gulf Shores. Condominiums there usually have a resort. I can say that this place is perfect for anyone. You'll not get bored because there are lots of beach activities there.
My nieces also prepared their summer chart last year and were very happy to fulfill each activity. This year we are planning ahead of summer for more places and adventures to build memories with. As of now, we are checking condos in Panama City, Beach FL, for early bookings.
Cool kids, you really made them the model for it. :) Great idea. :)
