paper flags
Last week I made cupcakes for a baby shower and adorned them with little paper flags. I cut 1-inch strips from my stash of pink wrapping paper and folded them over toothpicks using double-stick tape. I love seeing the pink patterns together, but they would also be cute in shades of pink and red for a Valentines dessert.

I love these little easy and adorable flags. Don't count the boys out though. I made these exact flags for my son's knight themed birthday is purples, blues and golds and they turned out great. Thanks for the double sided tape idea. I used hot glue and it was messy and time consuming. Your idea is so much better!
What a simple idea, but it is so cute and you can match any occasion. Thanks for sharing all your wonderful ideas.
Kristin,
This is a great finger food for my daughter's birthday. I love the idea of this cute and small cupcake especially with the flag on top it. My wife is an excellent baker and I love it when she baked us cakes and pastries. I will borrow this idea.
Thanks for sharing.
