personalized beach bags

Before vacationing with my husband's family, I made souvenir beach bags for each of us to tote around while we were in Hawaii. I got the canvas bags at H&M (Muji has offers a similar inexpense alternative) and personalized them using t-shirt transfer paper. I created the design in illustrator, but it could be done in any computer program. Just remember to reverse (mirror-image) your design before printing it!

This is a great way to personalize bags for kids too. I picked up some Lands' End-looking bags at the dollar store and made pool bags for my kids. Now they can carry their own towels, snacks and goggles to the pool!

I love your blog, and I've come back over and over for all of your great ideas. I especially love the graphics the two of you create. I am very interested in taking a graphic design class. Could you tell me what computer program(s) you use to design your graphics. They are fabulous. Thank you!

will you be posting the back to school signs for 2011?

Hello friend, I am very much happy to see your blog. But the problem is I can't understand the language. Thanks for posting. All the best.

Nice pictures and the overall blog is great too. People will want to make a bag after seeing this.
